UW This Season: One of three newcomers to the Cowgirl squad this season...a tremendous shooter who brings skill and depth to the backcourt.

High School: A four-time All-South Platte Valley Association and All-Area by the Keith County News and North Platte Telegraph selection while attending Perkins County High School...was also named Player of the Year by the Keith County News and the North Platte Telegraph three times...as a senior, she was named a McDonald's All-America Nominee, Second Team All-Nebraska (Omaha World Herald), Third Team Super-State (Lincoln Journal Star, along with the C2 Player of the Year by Huskerland Prep...during her career, she was a three-time Class C-2 All-State selection by the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World Herald...over a four year span, Wilson helped her team to a 86-7 overall record including a Class C-2 State Championship in 2008 and the Class C-2 Runner-Up Spot in 2007...was also selected to several All-Tournament teams during her career as well...was coached by Chris Mest...a four-time letterwinner in basketball, she also earned letters in volleyball, golf and track and field...in volleyball, she was a Class C-2 All-State Honorable Mention selection, along with earning All-Area and All-Conference Honorable Mention...an excellent student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, on the honor roll and involved with several scholastic activities.

Personal: Full name is Sara Elizabeth Wilson...born May 7, 1991 in McCook, Neb...is the daughter of Russ Wilson and Karen Wilson...has one sibling, Lance.
