COWGIRLS WIN BORDER WAR

PINK was everywhere on Saturday in the Arena Auditorium as a lot of Cowgirl fans came beforehand to participate in the “Walk for Women” event to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Even the Cowgirls got to sport their pink hi-top shoes to show their support for the event! And pink proved to be a good color for our Cowgirls who defeated CSU 69-52 to win the Border War in front of a crowd of 4,017 fans. It was an amazing atmosphere! Hillary Carlson gave CSU all they could handle with 25 points, 5 blocks and 15 rebounds. Aubrey Vandiver played her usual physical style to come up with her 12th double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
It was another great day for our Cowgirls at home! We hope to see you Wed, Feb. 10th at 7pm to cheer on our Cowgirls vs. SDSU! See you then!
